We kept Jacey in the Preferred Position 2-in-1 Bassinet and Incline Sleeper from Kolcraft
(which I just loved) till she reached its weight limit. Then we put her in her crib. I could see the mattress was giving out. This year it began caving in the middle. I am sure she wasn't very comfortable. I know I wouldn't be. Finally, I decided, I had enough.
As a kolcraft mom, I am given the opportunity to review many of there awesome products. I can seriously tell you I have never once been disappointed and this time is no exception. I contacted them with my situation and decided to review a mid grade mattress for you. Kolcraft offers all types and price points of sealy mattresses but as a mom of 2 on one income I know most of us cant afford a $200 crib mattress. Plus I wanted to show that you could get a quality mattress without spending a fortune.
Jacey is now sleeping on a quality feature packed crib mattress the Kolcraft Sealy Baby Ultra Rest Crib Mattress. This mattress retails for $99.99
I love that this mattress has a waterproof cover, stitching and binding. If Jacey happens to have a diaper that leaks at night or gets sick to her stomach all I would have to do is wipe it down and its clean. I don't have to worry about it sagging in the middle like our old crib mattress because it features an anti-sag weight distribution system and one of my favorite features is the airflow pocket for freshness. Any material need to breathe.
I also want to make mention it is made in the USA!
This mattress fits perfectly in her crib and no more sagging. Plus, believe it or not I am getting 1/2 hour extra sleep since we started using this mattress. Jacey is now getting up at 8:30 am instead of 8:00 am :)
