you can cradle, carry on your back, hug, carry on your hip and it even can hold twins. My favorite feature is that you order the carrier based on your size not the babies so the one carrier accommodates babier from 8 pounds to toddlers up to 42lbs. My son is 2 and he is almost 30 pounds. I bet he will be 3 or older before he reaches 42 pounds. It really is a great investment that will last a long time.
