Every Friday I make a menu for the following week and I usually do all my grocery shopping on Sunday.
I usually cook 5-6 days a week. It saves money from eating out and is much healthier.
This weeks Menu
Monday Crock Pot Roast and Baked Asparagus
Tuesday Quick and Easy Pot Pie ( I made this last week and Phil loved it so much he begged me to make it again)
Wednesday Portobella & Cheese Melts on Garlic Thins. *My recipe for this will be posted in an upcoming contest post so look out for that in the next couple weeks*
Thursday Classic Baked Mac and Cheese and Steamed Green Beans
Friday Tuna Melts and fresh veggies with dip
Grocery Bill for Dinner for the whole week $65
*Taking into account I have certain basic items already like butter and spices required in the recipes!

Menu planning is such a great $$$ saving tip!
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome. All 4 of us take our lunch so I spend at least $120 a week. Tomorrow we are having burgers, the next day chef salad, the next day pasta and on Thursday, tuna salad. We will eat out on Friday (date day) and maybe get the kids a pizza.
ReplyDeleteWow that's incredible! I have been looking for ways to cut my grocery bill. Looks like I need to start doing more menu planning. Thanks for the tip!
