My husband has to be out the door at 6:30 am with an hour drive time to get to work and many days the weather is especially bad or he is running late and skips breakfast.
There are also many days I have to be leaving soon after him for my 2 kids doctors appointments, errands, etc. It takes quite a chunk of time to pack up the kids and get them ready to go. Shane has to be up dressed and ready for the bus and Jacey is still in diapers and need help eating her breakfast. Sometimes getting the kids ready, packed up and out the door takes longer than expected and I have to skip breakfast. It makes it really hard on me to get though the day without a good breakfast.
I was so excited to discover the perfect solution for both my husband and myself.
Kellogg's new Nutri Grain Fruit and Oat Harvest cereal bars.
Nutri-Grain® Fruit & Oat Harvest cereal bars are available in Country Strawberry and Blueberry Bliss. Each bar contains 4 grams of protein and a hearty combination of real fruit and whole grains. The perfect on the go breakfast for busy Mom's, Dad's and adults on the go.
Kellogg got it right on with these cereal bars. They are so good. The Blueberry Bliss is my favorite but I really enjoy the Country Strawberry as well.
These bars are soft and moist with the perfect amount of fruit on top for a nice flavor. Plus the 4 grams of protein help me feel energized and get through the morning.
Hubby like both flavors equally. He says they are perfect to eat in the car on the way to work and help him not feel hungry before lunchtime.
From now on you will always find several boxes of these in my pantry as they are both hubby and I's go to breakfast when we are having our busy, running late kind of mornings. Some other things that help me get through my day are drinking plenty of water and getting as much ready/planned the night before.
Nutri Grain Fruit and Oat Harvest cereal bars are available at most retailers are sold in boxes of five for a suggested retail price of $3.59
