Shout Free GIveaway

I have a 3 year old boy who spills on his clothes a lot, falls and manages to get very dirty. Sometimes those spills and stains are difficult to get out. I wash several times a week and it can be very stressful as I hate to see his clothes ruined because I am unable to get out a stain.

Shout Free has made doing laundry so much easier for me. It is great at taking out stains and I don't have to worry about my son having a reaction because Shout Free is Dye Free, Fragrance Free and has 99% Natural. Ingredients. Not only that but it works in all water temperatures. I really enjoy doing laundry more now.

Shane has sensitive skin and sometimes he gets a small rash from the chemicals in the laundry detergent and stain removers I was using but not with Shout Free. I am so excited to have discovered Shout Free. It currently is and will be a staple in my laundry room.

Want to try it?
Currently Shout is offering downloadable coupons on their Facebook page for Shout Free and Color Catcher with Oxi.

Shout has also offered 2 of my readers a chance to try samples of Shout Free.

The same old coffee every day gets boring so I was very excited to learn that
this summer, Nestlé Coffee-mate has an all-natural way to liven up that cup of Joe with the introduction of new Natural Bliss creamers.

Coffee-mate has come up with three great flavors - vanilla, caramel, and sweet cream - to add a touch of all-natural flavor to your day. With only four simple, fresh ingredients, these creamers contain nothing more than milk, cream, sugar and natural flavor, providing a feel-good way to sweeten our morning coffee - and help us smile as we search for the missing sneaker!

After trying all three flavors I am very impressed. What I love most about Coffee-Mate Natural Bliss Creamers is that they are all natural with only 4 ingredients and taste pretty awesome.I love offering my family all natural ingredient options. My favorite is the caramel followed by vanilla and the the sweet cream which wasn't my favorite but my husband really liked.

Cottonelle Flushable Moist Wipes Review

We use a lot of wipes here. My son uses them after he uses the bathroom everyday. we started out using non flushable wipes but my son kept putting them in the toliet and I was afraid he would clog our pipes so I went in search for quality flushable wipes and found Cottonelle Flushable Moist Wipes.

My son likes these wipes and they are strong enough yet safe enough to flush. I even began using these wipes. I use them during my time of the month, after a workout and I even keep them in my purse for when I'm out and about. The are so versatile.

One thing I rally love about Cottonelle Flushable Moist Wipes is their new tub design. It is ergonomic and comes with a hanger that features a 3M Command adhesive strip for easy installation. I hang it right on the bathroom wall for easy access and when its empty I pull the 3m tab which releases it without any damage to the wall.

Want to try Cottonelle’s Flushable Moist Wipes? Now through September 1st you can receive a $1.00 off coupon for a tub of Fresh Moist Wipes by sharing “fresh rewards”at GetFreshWithaFriend.com

Crest Pro-Health Invigorating Clean Multi-Protection Rinse ( Final Thoughts)

As you know from my first post I was chosen to try the new Crest Pro-Health Invigorating Clean Multi-Protection Rinse.

I have been using it for weeks now and love it. I plan to continue to use it. I have noticed many positive changes in my oral health.

Before I get into the changes I wanted to note that one of my favorite things about Crest Pro-Health Invigorating Clean Multi-Protection Rinse is that it doesn't sting as bad as other mouth washes/rinses. It also has a nice flavor that kinda tastes like Black licorice.

I use the rinse twice a day. once when I get up in the morning and once before bed.
I have noticed that my mouth feels cleaner and my breath smells much better. My husband will agree with that..lol. The biggest change I have noticed is in my gums. I always have slight gingivitis. I guess I am prone to it but using this rinse I no longer notice any swelling in my gums.

Visit he Crest Pro-Health Invigorating Clean Multi-Protection Rinse website to learn more HERE

Filtrete -create a healthier home for you and your children)

Despite our best efforts, young children end up chewing on toys, putting dirty fingers in their mouths, and touching, tasting and breathing things potentially harmful. But because their organs and respiratory, immune and neurological systems are still developing, they may be more sensitive to harmful substances such as certain chemicals, particles and allergens.

Since most people with allergies develop them during childhood, Dr. Alanna Levine, Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP), shares the ABC's to help maintain a healthier home environment for children:

* A is for Avoid: Whenever possible, avoid irritants that often trigger allergies, such as products made of feathers or down. Use hypoallergenic pillows on your child's bed, and limit exposure to perfume, talcum powder, hair spray, air fresheners, fabric softeners or other strong odors or sprays. Strong fragrances and odors may aggravate allergy symptoms.

* B is for Balance: Maintain a consistent balance in the home to help minimize allergens. Keep the windows shut and use central air conditioning during high pollen seasons to help protect children from pollen particles that trees, grasses and weeds release into the air. These particles can harbor in the eyes, nose, and airways, causing allergy symptoms to flair for those allergic to pollen. Also, give children washable, non-allergenic stuffed toys when possible, and be sure to wash the ones played with the most on a weekly basis, in hot water at least 130 degrees Fahrenheit.

* C is for Change: Change items that are easy to neglect but are important for maintaining a healthier home, such as leaky faucets, pipes and other high moisture areas that are common places for mold growth. Don't neglect their air in the home either. Change your filter every three months, and use a high performance filter, such as a Filtrete Elite Allergen Reduction Filter from 3M.

WHY IS FILTRETE SUCH A GREAT FILTER?
Filtrete Elite Allergen Reduction Filter from 3M captures 94 percent of large airborne particles, such as household dust, pollen and mold spores, from the air passing through the filter. It also captures up to 40 times more microscopic particles, such as smoke, smog and particles that can carry bacteria and viruses, than ordinary fiberglass filters

For more healthy home living tips, money saving offers, filter change reminders and more, register to receive seasonal e-newsletters through the Clear Advantages program by visiting www.Filtrete.com.
You can also follow them on Twitter at @Filtrete.

HealthyWomen Time-Saving Tips...What are yours?

With Daylight Savings Time approaching this weekend I have some tips for helping save time. The time-related challenge I always struggle with is dinner but I have a few of tips that have helped make dinner time a lot less stressful and save me time. I hope they might help some of you out as well.

1. I shop for all my groceries for the week on Sunday. I make a list of what I will be making for dinner the entire week. Then I go through and list the ingredients I don't already have that I will need to buy. Then I shop for it all in one trip so I have everything on hand and ready for the whole week.

2. I do as much as I can to get what I can ready the night before. So if I can make a marinade or defrost meat or make ahead the whole casserole so its ready to go in the oven. Whatever I can get done the night before.

3. I use my crock pot a lot. Recipes using the crock pot are usually so much easier because usually you just dump everything in turn it on and go about you day. Hours later you have a yummy meal. I try really hard to use my crock pot at least twice a week to free up time to get other things done.

Also I ask for help from my family. I give my son things to do while at the grocery store. Like ask him to pick out fruit etc. As far as my husband sometimes If I run out of or forget things and he runs to the store on lunch. He is very helpful with vacuuming and throwing clothes in the dryer before he leaves for work in the AM.

Recently, HealthyWomen ( http://www.healthywomen.org) conducted a survey of over 1000 women to uncover their busiest hours as well as tips to help cope with the crunch. Their survey revealed that most women feel most pressed for time in the early morning hours of their day, from 6am to 9am and many report the biggest time pressures during early evening, from 5pm to 8pm., when many families are preparing for and eating dinner, as well as finishing up tasks from the day.

HealthyWomen compiled a list of the top 12 time- saving tips

Domestic Duties
1. Make Fridays left over night – you will clean out the fridge and save time and money.
2. We know you want to be watching TV, but how about making that personal time a bit more productive? Use commercial breaks to squeeze in some of the end-of-day chores – sort laundry, start the washer, vacuum a room, unload the dishwasher, organize the kitchen counter.
3. Sign up for free automatic bill-paying services for all recurring bills such as utility bills, etc. Then set up an online bank account for free, one-click payment of all other bills - saves time, postage, and gas!

Running Errands
4. Combine as many errands as you can into one outing – grouping them by location and reducing travel time.
5. Ask for help! Keep a list of your errands and an ear open in case your spouse, relative or friend is headed to the same place.
6. Ride your bike, walk or run to run local errands – eliminating the need to take time to exercise later.

Communicating with Others
7. Set a schedule and establish boundaries throughout the day. For example, at the beginning of each conversation, tell others how much time you have available. It’s as easy as saying, “I’m glad you called, but I’ve only got about 10 minutes to chat…”
8. Make email more efficient – spending the time to unsubscribe for all the junk emails will give you an inbox with just the information you want, and less time deleting the stuff you don’t.
9. Take public transportation to work, and use that time to read, update your to-do list, or answer personal emails.

Health and Beauty
10. Reconsider your definition of clean and don't shampoo every day - your hair will be healthier and shinier and your shower will be shorter.
11. Keep your period light – at least packing for it. Wear a menstrual cup all day and save time packing up other protection.
12. Tried and true – set your clothes out the night before. Women who don’t can waste time trying on different outfits or having to iron at the busiest time of the day.

What are your time saving tips?

Cottonelle Flushable Moist Wipes

Cottonelle Flushable Moist Wipes have been a huge help here in our house. As most of you know Shane just potty trained and is doing wonderfully. No accidents in 2 weeks. He is even able to pull his pants up and down. The only thing he still needs help with is wiping after #2.

That's where cottonelle has come in. Cottonelle along with Mom Central sent us their Flushable Moist Wipes with wipes hanger to hang the wipes container on the bathroom wall. Cottonelle flushable wipes are great for Shane because they help him learn to wipe himself and are flushable so I don't have to worry about clogging the toilet. We call them his Big Boy wipes. I can't tell you how many times they have been a life saver. They have made potty time so much easier.

Not only are they great for Shane but they have been great for me as well. I am not ashamed to admit they help me feel fresh and clean during that time of the month.

I would recommend these wipes to anyone.

To find out more information Visit www.getfreshwithafriend.com . You can also use this site to watch the 'Funny or Die' video and download Cottonelle's 'fresh rewards.'
