Schleich Review and Giveaway

Being a teacher I am a huge fan of imaginative play. It is so important for kids. I love toys that encourage imaginative play. I was introduced to Schleich right before christmas and loved their hand painted figurines. so does my son Shane who spends hours playing with them.

I accepted right away when given the opportunity to review their new Wildlife Animal Families. I was sent the

We were also sent a lovely coffee-table book about the history of Schleich titled Anywhere’s a Playground: Schleich 75th Anniversary, by Paul Kraut.

Shane has spent hours playing with the Wildlife Animal Families.

His favorites are the artic fox and the Kudu Calf. Look how cute these are!

Holiday GG 2010 Schleich Toys Review and Giveaway

Schleich is a new company I just discovered and I am so glad. They make action and animal figurines that help children play using their imagination.

Although some of these figures can be a bit more expensive that other toys they are definitely worth it.

These toys are top quality and being a certified teacher I really understand the importance of imaginative play. It really helps a child's mind expand and develop.



I was sent the Giganotosaurus dinosaur for Shane. He really loves this toy. When he first saw it he yelled Rawr and got very excited. I know he is going to have many hours of imaginative play with this toy.

Schleich toys would make a great gift for any kid. All kids can benefit from the imaginative play offered in these toys. I also think the smaller figures would make great stocking stuffers.

These toys are available at target, toys r us and select retailers.
