Shane's 2 year checkup

Shane had his 2 year check up on Tuesday. Everything looks great. They do everything on computers now. It's kind interesting to watch them do a chart on the computer. The doctor typed(lol) that Shane's verbal and comprehension skills are at least a year ahead of schedule. She even had to call in two nurses to hear Shane say the sounds that each letter makes and identify all the letters of the alphabet and the numbers 1 through 20 . She was amazed :) He is also saying full sentences and knows his shapes.
Some examples of his sentences
I cant find it. where is it?
Wow Mama! Mama looks pretty.
Where is dada? Look there he is. I found him.

At the doctors office Shane opened the drawer and grabbed a tongue depressor and put it in his mouth looked at the doctor and pushed his tongue down and said ahhhhh. I about died laughing.

He is 30 lbs (muscle) and almost 35 inches. He is in the 70 percentile for weight and 50th for height. Perfect growth according to his doctor.
According to the calculations he will be 5'9 but she made a point to tell me that it's a guideline and looking at his muscular build and hands she confident he is going to hit 6 foot.

Other than that he is on schedule with every other milestone. He has become a little more picky about eating on some days. (very common at this age) He is interested in the potty has been for a while but isn't consistently going yet. I'm not pushing it either.
I think he's going to be like I was. I decided I was ready and it was over. I had 2 night accidents and that was it.

Anyways here is a cute picture I took of him and Nana I wanted to share

It still get's me to know he's 2 already...Where does the time go?

We can't wait to have him overnight next month =) He is always bundles of fun and we are so happy of all his milestones and I can defintely see him being 6ft tall. The tongue depressor story was priceless! With his outgoing personality and being so smart I can so see him doing this.
