The set up was very easy. The picture quality both day and night is very good. Day is a little better than night but that is to be expected with most monitors. The sound works very well. we have no problem hearing what is going on. I love that has the option to power by AC or batteries. My only wish is that they offered the smart device viewing without the extra charge.

Jake and the Neverland Pirates + Disney Junior Announcement

We were thrilled to learn that soon there will be a brand new 24-hour Disney Junior channel. A brand new standalone 24-hour Disney Junior channel will launch in early 2012. Perfect for watching later afternoon/early evening hours while us moms and dads are cooking dinner.

One of Shane's favorite shows on Disney Junior is Jake and the Never Land Pirates. It has become a huge hit with kids and is one of Disney Juniors most watched shows.

Since its launch this past February, Disney Junior continues to grow and break all previous records for Disney Channel's preschool programming! Anchored by hit series, Jake and the Never Land Pirates, cable's #1 series for Boys 2-5 since its launch and on track to be Disney Channel's #1 preschool series ever, Disney Junior continues to soar. This show is so much fun to watch. I will admit, I even like it. It is filled with songs and cool characters that go on some neat adventures.

Then in January the debut of the first-ever 45-minute series special and season two of the series.

In the holiday episode of Jake and the Never Land Pirates, titled It's A Winter Never Land! / Hook On Ice, Jake, Izzy and Cubby awake to find that Peter Pan has left the crew some presents and a tree to celebrate Winter Treasure Day, and Captain Hook invites Jake and the crew on a winter treasure hunt.

The episode premieres FRIDAY, DECEMBER 2 (8:30-9:00 a.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel.

This mornings Breakfast with recipe Fried Apple Pancake Rings yummy

We had a very yummy Breakfast this morning!

Fried Apple Pancake Rings

Ingredients

1 Cup Bisquick Baking Mix
1 Egg
1/2 Cup Milk
1 Teaspoon Pumpkin Pie Spice
Zest of 1/2 Lemon
2 Medium Apples
pared and cored
Lemon juice and zest (for apple cider syrup)
Apple cider
Cinnamon


Instructions To make hot apple cider syrup: Add apple cider, lemon juice and zest, and cinnamon to a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce the liquid to a syrup consistency, by half.

Instructions
-Beat baking mix, egg and milk with rotary beater until smooth. Add pumpkin pie spice and lemon zest to batter and mix until incorporated.
-Grease griddle.
-Core and cut apples crosswise in 1/8-inch slices.
-Using a toothpick dip slices into batter. Cook on hot griddle until golden brown, turning once. Serve hot with apple cider syrup.

What preschooler doesn't like Mickey Mouse. My son was so excited about this DVD. He keeps talking about how there is treasure in outer space. I love that it teaches problem solving skills in a fun way. This is a great DVD stocking stuffer for the Holiday's this year for the preschooler in your life.
