Dremel Review

Fathers Day is around the corner and I had been trying to figure out what to get my husband. Then I was contacted by dremel to review their newest tool the 8200.

My Husband Loves this tool. He says it will be great for engraving, polishing and even Grinding off bolts. The dremel can be used for so many projects. You can round a sharp corner, etch a design into glass and cut different holes into wood or other materials. It's one of those tools that you will find handy in many situations.



I would recommend the 8200 for Father's Day. It's one of those handy tools that both the tool enthusiast and non tool enthusiast will both love.

Personalized Parcel Review and Giveaway

I found this great site called Personalized Parcels. It is founded and run by Dez who creates customized care packages.

Sometimes it is really difficult to pick out a present for someone special. Great start to the Holiday Weekend !

We are having a fantastic Holiday weekend so far. Hope you all are as well. Yesterday Phil and I enjoyed taking Shane swimming in the pool in our backyard. He loves the water. It was a nice quiet family night. Today we went to Shane's friend Zach's Birthday Party. They had a bounce house water slide, a swing set and sandbox. Shane just had a blast. Here he is playing with his friends enjoying the water slide.





He had so much fun he almost passed out on Daddy while Zach was opening his presents. Lucky I had the camera to catch this it was too cute. I love the father son bond they have :)

We Need a Family Vacation

Phil and I have been talking lately about a Family vacation. We really want to take Shane to Disney world. We all really need a vacation.

I haven't been anywhere since our honeymoons. We took 2 honeymoons. We went on a 7 day Eastern Caribbean Cruise and then went to Las Vegas for a few days a month after our cruise. Phil was lucky enough to have the opportunity a couple months ago to go to Arizona for 3 days but we haven't been on Vacation with Shane yet.

I think we both agree that, next year when Shane will be 3, we want to take him to Disney World. I think all kids should have the opportunity to go to Disney World. I know he would love seeing Mickey Mouse, the other Disney characters and riding the kiddie rides. Disney would be so entertaining and fun for him and would give all of us some really great memories of our first family vacation.

Phil and I have been looking online at the different Disney World Packages. There are so many packages to chose from we have had a hard time deciding. We like that you can get Packages that include not only Disney World but Sea World and universal Orlando and that you can design a package based on how many days you want to spend at Disney World.

We are looking forward to booking a Disney vacation in the very near future. We haven't picked an exact package yet but know we would like to spend at least 5 days there and the package must include Sea World.

1 YEAR AGO TODAY

My 16 year old SIL Died in a car crash.

HERE is the video of what happened. Neither party was ticketed or blamed. It was just a freak accident.

I do want to mention she was adopted by my husbands dad and step mom at 6 months old. In my husbands eyes and mine she was biological. We didn't treat her any different.

Just to think about it make me sick to my stomach. She was an amazing person. Very mature for her age.

What hurts the most is Shane won't have his own memories of her.
She Loved her NEPHEW. I remember how excited she was when we told her I was pregnant. At holidays that year she wouldn't even eat with us, she said she would rather sit in the living room and take care of Shane and that's what she did. Two weeks before she died she was here for Shane's 1st Birthday party.

I hurt most for Shane. I don't have any siblings and my husband has a brother but he has chosen to be not very involved with his nephew. Never a call or e-mail or card for Shane on x-mas or birthdays. you know the type.


I took the last picture of Stephanie. Here she is in our basement at Shane's first b-day.



I don't know if I'll ever get over her death. I know she won't be forgotten ever. We talk to shane about her all the time. He will even tell you who she is if you show him a picture.

If you get a minute today tell the people that matter most you love them. You never know when you'll lose that opportunity.

In my opinion this is the Best convertible Car Seat on the Market right now. Not only is it the best but it's the SAFEST. As a parent myself the most important thing is the safety of my child and protecting my child especially in a situation where I have no control like a car crash.

This seat was easy to install, is designed to fit and fits very securely in the seat and takes up less room than other seats we have had or used.

I was worried that the Air Protect wings would freak Shane out. I assure you that Shane didn't even take a second look and they didn't bother him at all. I also know other mothers who have this seat and their kids also were not in any way bothered by the air protect wings.

We have a lot of birthday parties we have been invited to this summer. In fact we have 2 birthday parties to attend this month alone. I love birthday parties and enjoy shopping for the perfect toys as presents for the birthday boy/girl. I know Shane enjoys watching the kids open their new presents to and maybe getting chance to play with them :)
