The perfect Burger Press

This is a 3 piece set that makes a perfect 6oz burger. It features a non-slip handle and non-skid feet. It has an insert that created a dimple in the middle of the burger. This is done so that the burger cooks evenly and does not swell in the center when cooked. You can lift the burger right out and flip it right on the grill or pan. It is dishwasher safe. The Flour keeper

I used to have a mess of flour everywhere every time I needed flour for my recipes which was at least 3-4 days a week. Now I have the The flour keeper and I just love it. It has a built in leveler for precise measuring, an air tight seal that keeps the flour fresh, stores up to 5lbs and is dishwasher safe. I don't know how I ever lived without it. The Garlic Chopper

I am half Lebanese and to say we eat and cook with a lot of garlic is an understatement. It always time consuming to chip up garlic cloves but the Garlic chopper changes all of that. It does contain a lot of parts but quickly and easily chops up garlic. It does a great job and even includes an integrated spoon for easy removal of the chopped garlic. It is also dishwasher safe. The mini fine Grater

The perfect extra sharp fine grater for Parmesan, garlic, citrus, chocolate and more. It comes with a protective cover making it safe for storage and is dishwasher safe. Always a handy tool to have. Available on amazon for $5.99

North Carolina BBQ Company review and giveaway

North Carolina BBQ Company offers what many consider the two distinct varieties of North Carolina BBQ; the Eastern and Piedmont styles.

"Eastern style pork BBQ is a “modified whole hog”. While there technically is no such term, we feel like it best represents our product. We utilize the shoulders and the hams, which produce a nice yield between the fattier shoulder and the leaner ham. True eastern BBQ usually cooks whole, halved, or quartered pigs.

Piedmont style pork shoulder is slow cooked and smoked with Hickory wood, the same way our Eastern style is cooked. It is also chopped to the same consistency. However, our Piedmont style is just shoulder meat, therefore is more naturally moist due to the higher fat content. For that reason, and to preserve the Lexington way of serving BBQ, we have not added any sauce to the product. You are free to add as much or as little as needed to suit your taste."

My take. We really enjoyed the Piedmont meat the best. It had a good taste and was very tender. The eastern was also very tender but we all agreed that it had a bit to much of a vinegar taste to it but I am sure some people would love it as it is a matter of personal taste. On the flip side we preferred the Eastern coleslaw. The Piedmont was good but different that what we are used to.

carolina bbq is good and something definitively worth trying. It would be great for an upcoming superbowl party.

My hair is naturally curly but also very frizzy. I love when its wavy but have a hard time controlling the frizz even with product.

Holiday GG 2010 Shirts that Go Review

Shirts that go is a family owned business. They make shirts with different vehicle on them for toddlers and kids.

I love their vehicle shirts and I knew Shane would too. His obsession lately is trains. Thomas and chuggington are his favorite tv shows. He owns a pair of Thomas pj's and asks to wear them every night before bed but he didn't have anything with a train on it to wear during the day till now.



We were sent the Steam Train shirt to review. You should have seen his face light up when I opened the package and showed him the shirt. He loves this shirt. You really need to see these shirts in person because the pictures don't do justice.

They are very well made and the detail of the design is amazing. The vehicles really stand out off the shirt.

Shane has a tendency to like to take his socks off. I really love these because they prevent him from taking them off without my help. I think that's how a lot of socks have gone missing in our house in the past. Plus they fit well but still have some room for when Shane's feet grow.

I think these socks would be a great stocking stuffer. Kids can always use socks.

I was blessed with curly frizzy hair and we all know we want what we can't have. I would love to be able to get out of the shower and have straight hair but that's not going to happen so I rely on a dryer and straighter to keep my hair straight.
