HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHANE and A WEEK of HUGE GIVEAWAYS

Today is Shane's 2nd Birthday. He was born Via C-section at 10:30 am. He was 7pounds 7oz and 21 inches long. Now he is almost 30lbs and he hasn't been to his 2 year visit yet but I believe he is 34 inches.

Phil and I are truly thankful for such a wonderful child. He has an amazing personality. He is funny and smart. He is our world.

GUIDECRAFT ART TABLE REVIEW AND GIVEAWAY

When I was younger all of my furniture and toys were made with quality. They were not plastic, ground up wood glued together junk which many toys and furniture are today. In fact the few things that were kept from my childhood Shane still plays with. It's hard to find good quality furniture and toys that will last years with out breaking the bank.

One Word Guidecraft. This company is amazing. They carry the coolest furniture and toys, all of which are solid. They are made to last. My son loves to draw, color and paint. I can't tell you how excited I was when I was given the opportunity from Guidecraft to review the Creation Station Center.





It came to our door packaged one box inside the other for extra protection. All the pieces were numbered so that they were easy to find and match to the directions. The directions had pictures and made assembly easy. Due to the amount of pieces it did take some time to assemble and an extra set of hands but that is to be expected when assembling anything.





I love this table it is large so anything can fit on it easily. It has storage in the back including a drawer and shelving.
The stools are the perfect size for my two year old to be able to get onto but leave plenty of room so that they will still work when he is older.

Hayneedle Jumpolene Bounce House Review and Giveaway

Hayneedle has 200+ specialty stores including Furniture, Home Accessories and baby and Kids.

I Visited the baby and Kids store looking for something to get my son for his second Birthday Party and found this great Jumpoline Bounce House.



I was so excited to be given this bounce house to review and use for my sons 2nd birthday Party. The Jumpolene was the hit of the party. It was easy to set up. We used a bike manual pump, I would recommend an electric pump as it did take a lot of pumping. All you do is unroll it and fill the bottom section with air. Then you fill the top with air and it's ready to go. It can fit 3 kids with space and holds up to 120lbs.



Being filled up and my son and his friend jumping in it!



My son just loves it. He has spent over half the day jumping in it today.

baby K tan review

Baby K Tan carrier is a really great carrier that really is 8 carriers in one. I love this carrier because it gives you so many options for carrying baby.
you can cradle, carry on your back, hug, carry on your hip and it even can hold twins. My favorite feature is that you order the carrier based on your size not the babies so the one carrier accommodates babier from 8 pounds to toddlers up to 42lbs. My son is 2 and he is almost 30 pounds. I bet he will be 3 or older before he reaches 42 pounds. It really is a great investment that will last a long time.

How I met My huband

I have been asked several times how it was that Phil and I met.
So for those of you interested here is the scoop.

In 2005 Phil and I both had myspace accounts. We connected on myspace and began sending e-mails to each other. Then about a month later we talked on the phone. In November we hung out for the first time and went to the mall and walked around. A few days later he invited me to one of his bowling nights. We clicked right away but he wasn't sure he wanted a girlfriend because four months before he had gotten out of a terrible relationship. He had been dating a girl with mental issues who tried to trap him into marriage by getting pregnant. He was just afraid to go through the hell he had just gotten away from and didn't want to make another mistake.

It was funny because there was such a strong connection between us. We hung out almost every day and feelings grew. After only a couple of months we decided to make it official. I knew I was going to marry him and I was right. 13 months after we began dating he asked my dad for his permission to ask for my hand in marriage. He even took my dad to get his opinion when he picked out my engagement ring. It was so sweet.

In some ways I was shocked because after his awful dating past I thought he wouldn't want to be married but he had told me later that after getting to know me, he knew, I was the complete opposite of his ex and that he was sure I would make a great wife and a fantastic mother.

8 months after we were engaged (July, 14,2007) we were married. It was a magical day and better than what I had dreamed of my whole life. You know a guy really loves you when he stands in in front of God, friends and family and professes his love and commitment.

So that's the scoop!
We will be celebrating our 3 year wedding anniversary this July :)

Vat19 skyball Review and Giveaway

The other day I found this really cool site called Vat19. They sell the most unique products. Looking through all of their items I noticed the Skyball hypercharged bouncy ball. This ball so cool it bounces up to 75 feet in the air because it's filled with a combination of compressed air and helium.

I was sent a yellow one to review and it bounces higher than any other bouncy ball I have ever seen. The skyball is really cool. I know Shane is going to have so much fun with it this summer. The skyball comes in blue, magenta, green, purple and yellow.

TheUpperRoom Camera Strap Review and Giveaway

Today has been beautiful. The weather is amazing. I just got back in from taking Shane outside to play in his water table and coupe car. Watching him outside in such great weather confirms how excited I am to move.
