My son's favorite shows are Chuggington and Thomas and Friends. He is obsessed with trains.
I am sure many of you have heard of Thomas but not Chuggington.
Chuggington is a new show on Disney.
"The series is set in the fictional town of Chuggington, and follows the adventures of three young trainee locomotives, (or "chuggers" as they are called in the show), called Wilson, Brewster and Koko."
"Wilson, the red engine, is a bit of a scatter-train, but he’s very enthusiastic and often a bit silly. He has a very short attention span that sometimes gets him into trouble. He is based on the classic American diesel locos of the 1950s and 60s."
"Brewster, the "sensible one," is the steady blue engine; he's very methodical and thoughtful, also quite strong. He is based on the British Deltic diesel locomotives of the 1960s."
"Koko is a green Japanese express engine. She is daring, outgoing, adventurous and confident. Every once in a while she tends to 'jump the gun'. She is based on the bullet train locomotives of the 1960s."
This is a show I really like for Shane because it teaches him about friendship, being honest, listening carefully, persisting under adversity, completing tasks, resolving conflict without violence, and many similar important life values.
I was sent a Chuggington Screener DVD for Shane which includes 4 episodes.
This DVD is great and Shane has watched it everyday since we received it. This DVD will also be going with us in the car on our road trip to visit family for the holiday's.
If you have kids and haven't checked out Chuggington you must. You won't be disappointed. To lean more about Chuggington visit the website HERE.
A big Thanks to Chuggington for supplying us with a Screening DVD.
