YOU must leave your e-mail

Some of you are not following the rules and are not leaving your e-mail address in your entries into my giveaways.

From today forward if you don't leave your e-mail address in your entry(s) they will be deleted.

It has always said "please include your e-mail address so I can reach you if you win" in the mandatory entry section of each giveaway!


I just don't have the time to search through peoples profiles to find E-mails.

Your entry should look like this

I like the blue because I have a boy

xxxxx@gmail.com

or

xxxxx at gmail dot com

    Oh no! This is me!

    I always use my Google ID - so my name is a link to my profile (which has my email on it). I just assumed that was enough.

    I always thought the same thing. I figured as long as the google ID had the email, it would be easy enough to find. Sorry.

    oh me too, so if the email is linked to my google it doesn't count?

    I always assumed that too. Thanks for letting us know they won't count without it in the entry.

    bekki1820cb at gmail

    Is that okay? Would you rather I did it differently? Just checking while we were onthe subject of making sure to add your email! Thanks. :)

    Laura, one way around this is to not use comments for entries, but instead use a google docs form. You can make email a mandatory field, so the entry will not submit without it. Plus it puts it into a nice spreadsheet for you. It can mean a little more work when it comes time to pick the winner, but it is totally worth it. Just a thought!

    Like everyone else, I always assumed that since it was visible in my profile it was fine. Sorry. I don't like to put my email in my entries and I don't like putting my facebook name in them, either. However, since you have explained the rules, I will follow them, though that means I probably won't enter much unless I really really want it.

    i have a question...if i leave my e-mail in my first entry..do i also have to leave it in any additional/extra entries for that same giveaway? Thanks, nancy
